Join Nutritional Therapist, Lucy Bishop, & Yoga Teacher Julia Madden for this nourishing day retreat on nutrition & yoga for perimenopause. You’ll learn how to boost your energy, mood & metabolism naturally through diet and lifestyle change.
The day will provide a relaxed, nurturing space to learn how nutrition and yoga can support you through your menopause journey. There will be practical dietary advice as well as gentle yoga practice to alleviate stress, anxiety and fatigue. In our practice, we will explore key poses and their benefits – so you can use them at home as part of your ‘tool box’ to support you through your perimenopause journey. The practice will be suitable for all levels of ability and experience, beginners are welcome.
In perimenopause women’s bodies change and so does how we process our food making it a powerful time for a change in diet. In the nutrition workshop you’ll receive professional advice on the foods to include, the foods to avoid and how to support your hormones naturally through diet.
This relaxing day retreat is informal & informative with plenty of opportunity to ask questions or just sit back, relax and listen. Perimenopause can be a positive experience if we know how to work with it!
A delicious and nutritious lunch is provided plus healthy snacks and herbal teas.
ABOUT THE RETREAT TEACHERS:
Lucy Bishop is a Nutritional Therapist who empowers women to have a more positive experience of perimenopause through diet & lifestyle change. She has over 12 years of experience in helping women to boost their energy, mood & metabolism naturally through diet.
Julia Madden is a passionate Yoga Teacher who is on a mission to share yoga as an accessible and inclusive practice that can offer us rest, joy & growth.
She qualified over a decade ago, and in February 2023, extended her training to include Yoga for Perimenopause & Menopause with Petra Coveney.
