Nurture of Alabama Mental Health Day 2026

Nurture of Alabama, in collaboration with the City of Birmingham and Birmingham Park and Recreation Board, will host the 5th Annual City of Birmingham Mental Health Day on Friday,May 8th, at Linn Park from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This important community event aims to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and improve access to mental health resources across the Birmingham area.

Local community partners will be on-site to offer support, resources, and services. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with mental health professionals, participate in wellness activities, and connect with organizations dedicated to fostering emotional well-being.

Attendees will have access to mental health resources; enjoy local food trucks and a Logan the Entertainer, have a free depression screening; mental health consultations, wellness screenings, line dancing, low impact exercises, register for door prizes; and more.
