NSW DPIRD Kids School Holiday Fishing Workshop - Clarkes Point Reserve

FREE SCHOOL HOLIDAY FISHING FUN FOR 8 – 14 YEAR OLDS.

Want your kids to learn how to fish in your local waterways?

Then come along to our hands-on free fishing workshop at Clarkes Point Reserve, Woolwich.

Our kids fishing workshop includes sessions on how to rig up a rod, knot tying, fishing safety, correct casting techniques and a practical fishing session. It will also include some great tips on fishing responsibly, correct catch and release techniques and offer a chance to hear from experts about all things fishing to get started in your local area. All equipment is supplied on the day.

Bookings are essential as places are limited.

Each child participating must have a responsible adult in attendance to assist with practical fishing (minimum 1 parent per family group). DPIRD Fishing workshops are run with the assistance of Fishcare Volunteers supported with funds from the Recreational Fishing Trusts.
