The Persian Heritage Society and AAPI New Jersey invite you to join us as we celebrate Nowruz (Persian New Year)! Nowruz means “new day” and is a 3,000-year-old holiday celebrated by more than 300 million people throughout Western and Central Asia. Observed on the spring equinox, the festival is a time for families and communities to come together, honor their heritage, and embrace the season of growth and new beginnings.
Join us for a festive afternoon featuring a special performance by Sufi musician Amir Vahab and his band, delicious food and drink, activities for kids (including a magician!), a local vendor marketplace, and much more. Experience the beauty of Persian culture and celebrate Nowruz with music, community, and the spirit of renewal!
