Cascade Medical’s Emergency Medical Services Department is offering a free community CPR class at the Leavenworth Fire Station Community Room, 228 Chumstick Highway, Leavenworth.
The classes run from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on the following dates:
Wednesday, April 22, 2026 – Class Full
Wednesday, July 15, 2026 – Newly Added (details coming soon)
Wednesday, September 30, 2026
These classes are open to anyone age 8 and up who wants to learn how to save a life. Instruction covers cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) techniques, which use chest compressions to keep blood flowing after someone’s heart stops beating.
Starting CPR quickly can double or triple the chances of survival for someone suffering from cardiac arrest. The class also includes an introduction to automated external defibrillators (AEDs), devices that can help restart a heart that has stopped.
Learn more about Community AEDs and how you can help save lives in your community! New CPR guidelines released by the American Heart Association in late 2025 will be included in the class.
