Now and Then Exhibition - Artist Talk and Closing
About this Event
Art of Noize Gallery invites you to the artist talk and closing for Now and Then, a solo exhibition featuring multidisciplinary artist.
This exhibition explores the evolution of Wright’s artistic journey, highlighting changes in style, technique, mediums, and subject matter from his earlier works to his current creative direction. More than a showcase of artwork, Now and Then is a visual narrative of transformation, experimentation, and exploration—inviting viewers to reflect on the ways artists grow, adapt, and redefine their creative voice over time.
Guests are encouraged to arrive at 3:00 PM to experience the exhibition before the conversation begins. Light refreshments will be available.
At 4:00 PM, Luther Wright will participate in an artist talk moderated by Kimberly E. Springle, exploring his creative process, inspirations, community engagement, and the stories behind his work. The conversation will be followed by an audience Q&A.
Following the talk, guests are invited to stay, connect with the artist and fellow patrons, continue conversations, and explore opportunities to acquire artwork from the exhibition.
Meet the Artist: Luther Wright
Wright is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice is defined by his exploration of surface, space, and storytelling through various mediums. As a muralist, Wright has transformed public spaces throughout the DMV region and across multiple states with vibrant works that inspire connection and reflection.
Beyond his studio practice, Wright is committed to community engagement through art, leading and participating in projects that use creativity as a catalyst for dialogue, belonging, and cultural enrichment.
Unbound by a single style or medium, Wright embraces experimentation and artistic exploration. His evolving practice reflects a commitment to pushing creative boundaries while discovering new ways to express ideas, experiences, and perspectives.
