Invent the legends of tomorrow across Saturday 8th August 11am-5pm and Sunday 9th August 11am-4pm, outside Newcastle Civic Centre.
What mythical creature is hiding in Newcastle? Could there be a magical invention that helps people reconnect, cleans our rivers, or makes the city a happier place?
Drop into Little Inventors creative space at #NOVUM26 for fun, FREE, hands-on activities where imagination takes over. Inspired by the incredible collections of Newcastle's Lit & Phil, with the team you'll dream up brand-new myths, legendary creatures and magical inventions for modern-day Newcastle, then bring your ideas to life through drawing and making.
Using recycled materials, cardboard and plenty of creativity, you'll build your own mythical creation to help solve today's challenges. Whether you're inventing a secret place, a legendary hero or a fantastical gadget, every idea is welcome.
Come along, get making and inventing with the Little Inventors team, and help create the myths and legends of the future!
