Join experienced creative writing tutor Jane Cartridge for an inspiring and practical workshop exploring the wide genre of crime and mystery writing.

We will discuss story structure, character building and bringing an interesting twist to the story, and use deviously good writing prompts to explore what we learn. Whether you enjoy noir, detection or cosy crime, the workshop will give you tools to progress your story writing.

Participants with any level of writing experience are welcome, including beginners. This workshop is most suited to those who are keen readers of the genre as this will provide the background to the session.

There will be plenty of opportunities to do some writing during the session, but you do not have to share anything you write with the group unless you'd like to.
