A Death Cafe is a gentle space in the community where people can come together to talk openly and honestly about some of the things our society can find difficult to deal with - the end of life, death, grief and loss.

It is not counselling or therapy.

It is not a philosophical debate about the meaning of life.

It is an opportunity to have tender conversations that other people in your life might be uncomfortable with.

I am an End of Life Doula and I host the cafe. I hold the space to make sure people feel comfortable and can join in as much or as little as they want. There is no agenda and no experts.

Each cafe I host is different based on who comes along and what they are interested in talking about. There are sometimes tears, and there is often laughter.
