Come celebrate the work of featured artist, Nora V. Daniel at November's First Friday Art Walk!Nora V Daniel delights in paying homage to nature through expressive brush work and impasto, occasionally tightening up for a detail. Nora's revived friendship with Mary Giammarino has encouraged more freedom and spontaneity in the landscapes and interiors which delight the senses while conveying time of day, season and mood.
Lively dialogue is encouraged between art and viewer, through sufficient ambiguity, imagination and interpretation are fostered.
The paintings that make up this show are all locally produced, many of which are Coopermill clotheslines and chickens.
Nora has been collected and shown widely in Columbus as well as NYC where she was born, raised, studied and taught before moving to Ohio in 2005. Throughout her life, Nora has done residencies in Venice Italy, Havana, Cuba and Hamburg Germany. She teaches privately as well as at the Columbus College of Art.
