November 2026 monthly workshop: Bojutsu

Next in our series of monthly workshops features Bojutsu. This time, we'll be looking at Kukishinden Bojutsu. In the Bujinkan Dojo, our line of Kukishin martial arts has an extensive set of Bo techniques.
This workshop will start with a recap on the basics of the use of the 6ft staff -- kamae, striking, receiving etc - and the main focus of the day will be the Shoden and Chuden Gata or initial and middle transmission patterns of the tradition.
If you have hakama, please wear them. If you don't, that's also fine.
Training will run from 12pm to 5pm. Guests are welcome - fees are €40 for anyone working, €20 for unwaged people or students and free for anyone who needs it to be.
