Since the dawn of time human beings have gathered in pubs and argued about who is greater – John Lennon or Paul McCartney. Now, finally, here at last (and not a moment too soon), is a short play that definitively sorts out the argument once and for all. Well… sort of.
Lennon v McCartney is a short play written and directed by Stephen Kennedy. It will be performed at the Workman’s Club on November 7th by Dylan McDonough and Emmet Quinn. This short play has been performed a number of times at International Beatleweek in Liverpool and broadcast on BBC Radio Merseyside. This will be its first showing on an Irish stage in over a decade.
LENIN & LIONEL
(Live Music Performance)
LENIN & LIONEL are songwriting brothers who originally come from India, but have been living in Dublin for many years. They are well known in Ireland for their close harmonies and excellent cover versions. They have played the Dublin Beatles Festival twice before and it’s great to get them back on to the main stage at the Workman’s. These guys are class. (Also check out their original songs online. They have released a number of albums.)
Doors open at 2pm. Show starts at 2.10pm sharp.
