Nourishing Our Seeds of Strength

Nourishing Our Seeds of Strength is a community-led gathering hosted by SEEAWA, created to support wellbeing, cultural connection, and collective care.

This event is rooted in the understanding that culturally familiar food is deeply healing. Cooking and sharing dishes from women’s own cultures helps restore a sense of home, strengthen identity, and reconnect us to our innate capacity for creation, care, and resilience.

Alongside shared Southeast and East Asian food, the gathering will include gentle, trauma-informed breathwork and meditation, offering moments of grounding, reflection, and unity.

Together, we are raising funds for survivors of sexual and domestic violence, while holding a space grounded in safety, dignity, and belonging.

Optional, gentle wellbeing practices offering grounding and moments of calm. All activities are consent-based.

An intergenerational, family-friendly gathering centred on respect, care, and connection.

♻️ Pre-Loved Items for Sale
Shared by women in the community as an act of circular care and mutual support.

This event aims to:

• Increase awareness of community-led, culturally rooted approaches to wellbeing
• Strengthen connection and collective care through shared nourishment and presence

All proceeds will support survivors of sexual and domestic violence.
