We must bear witness. We must record the way it was once was. The little piece of the world each of us knows must not get forgotten. We must not be forgotten.
I haven't been able to sleep. I feel restless. Despair is a glorified ghost haunting the hallways of my heart. I dream the children of statesanctioned war. I dream of famine frayed faces. I dream of Louisiana. I dream of Mississippi / & Fannie Lou Hamer / daughter of sharecroppers / daughter who bled / who fed us our rights.

This is precisely the time when artists go to work. Not A Noplace is a space for you to honor yourself / your life force energy & your work. It is a place to:
- Check in with yourself.
- Surprise yourself.
- Hug yourself.
- Ask yourself: Am I in right relationship with myself, with the sun, the moon, the stars, & the land?
Please understand, you do not need to come with work prepared. You do not need to share. However, you are invited to notice, to listen deeply, to bear witness, & to be in conversation with those who choose to share.
As always, adorn yourself as it pleases you, for an evening of indulging in community, creativity & connection.
