What would a zero-waste neighborhood look like? Join us to discover practical ways to generate less garbage through interactive exhibits, community visioning, and a brief presentation, hosted by the North Loop Neighborhood Association in partnership with Clean Water Fund.
We'll learn new ways to reduce, reuse and recyle, all in an effort to reduce the trash that gets hauled to the garbage burner every day. The North Loop hopes to share its lessons in waste reduction with other Hennepin County communities, as drastically reducing our garbage means reducing the need for the garbage burner too.
The event takes place at Fulton Taproom, which makes sustainable choices starting at its brewing facility in NE Minneapolis, as well as its North Loop taproom. More info at www.northloop.org.
