About this Event
Join us for the first North London Dirt RUN!
We’ve been running our North London Dirt gravel-bike event for nine years now — and as we both love running too, we thought we’d add a second annual NLD event for two feet instead of two wheels.
Run as you like — this isn’t a race.
We’ll have run leaders at different paces, or load up a GPS and head out on your own.
The route is a loop from Leyton in East London. Both Lee Bridge and Clapton Station are around 20 minutes away on foot. There is also bike parking near the venue.
Start the day with a Kickback coffee, brewed by brew-ware masters MiiR, then head out on a 25km all-surface run taking in canal paths, woodland dirt tracks and suburban side streets. Demo Mount to Coast shoes on the day too, on a first-come, first-served basis.
There’ll be run leaders from our partners: running and bike apparel brand Portal (our hosts for the event), London store Benchmark, ultra-running shoe specialists Mount to Coast, OTE sport nutrition and Camino Ultra — the London ultramarathon event masters.
Half-way round the route there will be an energy stop with OTE, where you can refill flasks and grab one of their gels or a bar.
Then head back to the Portal HQ, check out kit from our partners, hang out with the community and swap stories. You’ll leave with an event goodie-bag courtesy of Mount to Coast and MiiR.

We've made this event with non-refundable tickets, as every penny from the event is going to support the Hackney Foodbank.
