North American Practical Method Training Camp 2027
Master Chen Zhonghua is returning for the annual North American Practical Method Training Camp!
We will be having early check-in on February 9th. If you are interested, Master Chen will conduct private lessons on that day. It’s a day to get settled in, catch up with friends, and informally train Taiji!
Early check-in can be arranged by letting us know and paying Prairiewoods directly for lodging that night.
Camp officially begins February 10th and runs through February 15th, 2027.
This will be an intensive workshop welcoming students of all levels. Historically, this workshop has been attended by many of Master Chen’s disciples. This benefits the disciples in many ways while also giving newer students additional opportunities to learn. It creates a unique atmosphere for becoming fully immersed in
Chen Style Taijiquan Practical Method.
Once again, the Taijiquan training, lodging, and dining will all be available at one location and for one cost, at the same location where we have held the camp since 2017.
This intensive workshop will focus on theory, foundations, Yilu, push hands, and applications. Master Chen’s disciples will also take part in the instruction and training.
There are 32 accommodations on-site and 2 single-occupancy cottages. These spaces will fill up. We will also provide a list of hotels near the retreat center, and participants staying off-site will be able to participate in the training just the same as those staying on-site.
This year’s sign-up and ongoing camp information will be handled through this post. Please do not assume you have a bed unless we have confirmed your accommodation.
This Facebook event will also be used for sign-up.
