Three-piece band NOORD was born on a beautiful summer’s eve back in 2017. Based in Antwerp, Belgium, they’ve been exploring the boundaries of (metal) genres ever since.
For two years, NOORD would only play live without recording any of their songs. Still in search of their sound, the ‘essence’ of what they wanted NOORD to become.
The release of their first EP back in 2020 established what NOORD was going to be. Eager to bring this EP to the stage and share it with the world COVID started to take hold over the world.
With a driven mindset and a view of what the future may hold they released the stand-alone single ‘DEFIANCE’. This was the start of something new and fresh.
When everything went back to normal they hit the stage and started writing the follow-up to their EP and single.
In 2023 they released their first full album ‘CRYPTOSIS’. By exploring new paths they created a story that will grasp the reality and it’s conflicts.
Whilst touring they started writing on new material and the result of this is the single ‘PILGRIM’. The first song of the forthcoming EP.
