About this Event
Join High Five's free Nonprofit NetWalk, a free, fun, relaxed, and informal walk and lunch to connect and network with fellow nonprofit leaders! This walk is hosted by Curebound, which has raised over $50 million for early-stage cancer research projects led by San Diego institutions.
We will be hosted by Jayme Rubenstein, Community Fundraising Manager.
For our walk, we’ll meet at Curebound’s Sorrento Valley office, then walk through one of San Diego’s most prolific tech hubs, home to budding startups and global pioneers in life sciences (Element, Vividion), telecoms (Qualcomm, Verizon, Samsung), and entertainment (Sony).

Parking: Parking is available in the Karl Strauss parking lot.
Who Can Attend: Any nonprofit leaders, philanthropists, board members and supporters of nonprofits. Leashed and well-behaved furry friends are welcome to join us for the walk and for lunch afterwards.
Difficulty Level: Easy. We will walk an approximately 2 mile loop at a social pace. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes, a hat, and sunscreen.
Notes: Plan to arrive 10 minutes before start to give yourself time to park and find us.
About Our Host:
Curebound is a San Diego-based 501c(3) philanthropic organization that raises and invests strategic funding in translational cancer research projects aimed at accelerating new discoveries to clinical application. Their annual Curebound Cancer Challenge gives 100% of donations directly to researchers.
