6-7:30pm Beginning w/ Soledad Barrio
Practice the basics of Flamenco dance, a traditional, emotionally intense dance style that originated in southern Spain. Soledad Barrio, founding member of Noche Flamenca, will lead dancers through exercises meant to introduce the fundamentals of Flamenco to newcomers, or to strengthen understanding for those with prior experience.
7:30-9pm Intermediate w/ Paula Bolaños
Further your understanding of Flamenco dance in this workshop led by Noche Flamenca artist Paula Bolaños. Dancers will be have the opportunity to learn intermediate-level Flamenco choreography, after which they will have a deeper appreciation for the choreography within Noche Flamenca's "Searching for Goya."
