This event is a heartfelt celebration of art, music, and community, hosted by Alimentando al Pueblo, Carlos Martinez, and Seeking Cultura.</h4>

🌳 An Árbol de Vida where you can leave memories for loved ones who have passed
💭 A Dream Board to share our collective dreams for the community

Comida y Corazón is a food drive by Alimentando al Pueblo that brings the community together to share the rich flavors and traditions of Latino culture during Latino Heritage Month. Their mission is to cultivate healing through comunidad, comida, and celebración.
This is more than an event—it’s a night to reflect, celebrate, and dream together.

Emerging during the pandemic, Alimentando al Pueblo addresses systemic challenges faced by Latinx communities. By blending food, culture, and healing, they work to build stronger, more resilient communities.
Carlos Martinez:
Seattle-based artist Carlos Martinez draws inspiration from surrealism, nature, and his Afro-Indigenous heritage from Oaxaca and Guerrero, Mexico. His art blends the dreamlike with the familiar and has been featured in the Tacoma Art Museum and Seattle Convention Center.
Seeking Cultura:
Seeking Cultura empowers small BIPOC businesses through mentorship and accessible spaces, creating opportunities for growth and cultural exchange. They focus on building strong, inclusive communities and meaningful partnerships.
La Roxay Productions:
La Roxay Productions is a consulting agency that approaches community work through a healing justice framework and curates experiences and shares knowledge that centers Black, Indigenous, Communities of Color, supports community building, brings forth joY, and facilitates healing for those involved.
