No Words For This – A Conversation with Alison Mau

What happens when people find the courage to tell the stories they've carried in silence?
Some conversations change the way we see the world.
Others change the way we see each other.
Over the past decade, award-winning journalist Alison Mau has helped bring hidden stories into the light, creating space for conversations that many people once felt unable to have.
Through her work, she has listened to hundreds of people, explored difficult truths, and challenged New Zealand to think differently about justice, relationships and the importance of being heard.
Join Alison for a thoughtful and deeply human Learning Lunch as she reflects on the personal journey behind her new memoir, No Words For This, and the experiences that shaped it.
This is not simply a discussion about a book.
It's an opportunity to hear from one of New Zealand's most respected journalists about courage, empathy, resilience and the power of speaking up.
Expect an honest, reflective and meaningful conversation that invites us to think more deeply about ourselves, our communities and the stories that shape our lives.
