Join us for an art build and a screening of "No Other Land"
✅ Date: Saturday, April 19, 2025
✅ Time: 4:30 PM - 8:30 PM

Art Build + Community Food Share (4:30 PM - 6:30 PM):
Bring your shirts, bags, or any items you'd like to screen print. We'll have a limited number of tote bags available for sale, with all proceeds to our fundraiser. We'll also be making buttons- you can make your own or use our designs. A table will be set up with our "Postcards for Palestine" and you can write a postcard to your elected representative or create your own message. This event is family friendly and there will be art for children to colour as well!
During the art build, we'll host a Community Food Share. There will be food to share and we encourage you to participate and bring a food or drink that you'd like to share with the community.
Film Screening (6:30 PM):
At 6:30 PM, we'll screen the film No Other Land
Community Discussion (8:00 PM - 8:30 PM):
Following the screening, we'll hold a guided discussion to reflect on the film's themes and share thoughts on solidarity, resistance, and action.
🎦 About the film: This Academy Award winning film won this year for Best Documentary. It's a film made by a Palestinian-Israeli collective that documents the Israeli military and Israeli settlers' violent destruction and attacks on the Palestinian village of Masafer Yatta in the West Bank. It is also the story of the alliance which develops between the Palestinian activist Basel and Israeli journalist Yuval, and their friendship in the midst of this ongoing struggle for survival in the West Bank.
