Goal: make the turnout on this important national call to action day MASSIVE. Between this event and the downtown rally we can blanket the town. Profoundly impactful visual.We will stay at the corner until at least 2:30.
We aim to fill the Jackson/Maple corner with protestors and line the street from Dexter to Liberty, and line Jackson/Huron to downtown to merge with the rally there.
We will have music, free signs by A.R.T (until they run out), and a community vibe that will reboot your hope.
There is ample parking in Maple Village, Vet's and side streets.
There will be a march to downtown down Jackson/Huron at 1:30 to merge with the downtown event, only join it if you can walk 5 miles! If not, stay at the corner and help continue to create the beautiful noise of exercising our First Amendment rights.
This option is great for those with mobility and/or crowding issues.
Let's put A2 on the national map for most impressive turnout on this very important day of protest. Let's DO this!!
