Get ready and save the date, because on October 18, we're going bigger and bolder for No Kings 2.
Why we're taking to the streets again
We know you've been watching and reading about Trump's authoritarian power grabs. He's deploying the military to blue cities, he's abducting immigrants and holding them in inhumane facilities, he's attempting to rig the congressional maps, and so much more. Consistency is key in our fight, and showing up through highly visible, peaceful protests is one of the most important ways to make our message loud and clear. It's up to us to remind him that we, the majority of millions, are united, and together, we're shouting: America has No Kings!

I have reserved the Pavilion at Peoples Park for the day. Depending on weather, the bathrooms may or may not be open. I will follow-up with the Park District on the Friday before the event.
Bring a Friend or two. We have to keep the momentum going.
We have some No Kings signs from the previous rally for you to choose from and you can create some new signs for this event.
We will also bring blank poster board and markers to make your own signs. Please no vulgar or threatening language and keep the message to issues.

We will also be holding a Special Protest Action called "This Is Fascism" based on the action in Sequim We earlier this month.
Line up along the South West corner of Broadway and Porter Waggoner. Be safe and stay back from the curb.
Remember one of our Guiding principles is for Peaceful Rallies. Do not engage with anyone looking for trouble. If there is any outside trouble, alert the person in charge and do your best to de-escalate, and if necessary please dial 911. The West Plains Police know we are there.
