Acclaimed Jewish-Argentinian actor and filmmaker Adrián Suar directs, produces, and stars in this comedy about a Jewish family with a lot of love for each other and an equal number of grudges. Dario (Suar) returns to Argentina from the U.S. following his father’s death. With a family wedding and bat mitzvah rapidly approaching, Dario and his three messy siblings must navigate their grief, unfinished business, and extended family drama. Mazel Tov reflects both the specificity of the Buenos Aires Jewish community and the universal experience of having a family with big personalities.
