Translational research in infants, children & young people. The talks are the same as the afternoon talks, you only need to book ONE session
About this Event

A free in-person event for members of the public, carers, patients and staff, as we highlight, Setting the stage for health – translational research in infants, children and young people. Active researchers should only attend if you are exhibiting a relevant research poster (see details below), places for the event are for the public and those not involved in health research.

Many common physical and mental health conditions develop or begin to develop during infancy and childhood, adversely affecting life experiences and outcomes for children and adults alike. However, the early years also offer opportunities for diagnosis, early treatment or other interventions that can improve outcomes, preventing the development of health conditions or reducing their impact.

Join three Cambridge researchers who have specialised in research in infants, children and young people to hear how research is changing the way we diagnose and treat health conditions that emerge in the early years, setting the stage for healthier outcomes throughout life.

An hour of talks either in the afternoon (4-5pm) or evening (6-7pm)

There will be a poster-and-networking session where you can take the opportunity to chat with local researchers about their research, over light lunch and refreshments in between the repeated talks, you only need to book one session to attend the talks and poster exhibition.

Prefer to attend the afternoon talks between 4.00pm to 5.00pm instead , visit: https://bit.ly/CYPafter
