Celebrate Night Light together!
The Fall Equinox is the perfect threshold when day and night are balanced. We will be making our own handmade paper lanterns, a symbolic gesture of carrying the light within us through the approaching dark. The workshop will take place on September 12, 2026.
The following week, during the Night Light festival on the Friday and Saturday evenings, the Lantern Brigade will parade throughout Victoria Park, as a roving art installation. Celebrating when the night and daylight become equals. Night Light festival takes place on September 24, 25 & 26, 2026.
Bring your inner light!
- All levels of artistic expression and experience are welcome.
- Must be proficient at handling cutting tools.
- Materials are provided.
