WEAVING WORKSHOP WITH AMYDate: Thursday 12th March 2026

Venue: The Studio at SA Art Fair, 217 Main Road, Hout Bay
Join us for a relaxed evening weaving workshop where creativity, texture, and play come together.
Perfect for beginners, this hands-on session introduces simple weaving techniques and patterns while encouraging personal expression and experimentation.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Using a beautiful selection of yarns and fibres, you’ll create your own abstract woven tapestry and choose a piece of driftwood to mount it on - leaving with a finished (or nearly finished) artwork ready to hang at home.
WHAT’S INCLUDED:
All materials are included, and no prior experience is needed.

DURATION: 2.5 hours
WHAT TO BRING:
Coffee & tea available, but you are welcome to bring your own snacks and drinks to enjoy while you create
