About this Event

We’ll begin with a read-aloud of , a story about a boy on the autism spectrum who loves routines — especially eating jollof rice — and gradually learns to try new foods with the patient support of his family.

Then, with guidance from the chef-owners of Buka, kids will help prepare and taste three Nigerian dishes inspired by the book, including egusi soup.

Designed for ages 6–10 with a parent or guardian.
