For over 10 years Buenos Diaz has been an exciting blend of blues, indie, alt pop, and rock in Austin, Tx. Their sound, mixing influences from vast and varied artists such as Gustavo Cerati and Bob Dylan has propelled them on tour around key U.S. music hotspots such as New York, New Orleans and San Francisco. The band’s discography is rich and diverse, with songs like "Half Full" and "Through The Clouds" earning rights for ad placements with Nike and Amazon while recently Buenos Diaz became a 2023 awardee for both The Live Music Fund and Elevate Grants issued by the City of Austin for their upcoming Spanish lyric album “Confesiones De Invierno”. The band has been praised for its "swaggering garage rock" by Austin Chronicle, frontman Nick Diaz has held his own alongside Texas legend Alejandro Escovedo, they've been applauded for their "lo-fi alt-pop" excellence by The Static Dive marking Buenos Diaz as an authentic and noteworthy presence in the modern music landscape.
