Next Steps in Glass Blowing: Color Application

Class Limit: 4 to 8

Prerequisite: Advanced-Beginner Glassblowing 

Registration Closing: March 25 

Pet Policy: Visitors are NOT permitted to bring pets into the WheatonArts campus. Only Service Dogs, as defined by the ADA, are welcome on the grounds.

Learn the basics of color application using powders, frits, and color bars. This workshop will emphasize the importance of building positive habits and solid hand skills, as well as navigating the challenges of working with color. This course will emphasize individual attention and instruction divided between demonstrations and supervised work time. This class is ideal for students who have minimal to basic glassblowing skills, not for true beginners. Students should have taken at least one beginning glassblowing class prior to this course. 

*Registration includes access to Student Open Blow on Friday evenings from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. during the class run time.

Seats are limited and booked on a first-come, first-reserve basis. Besides an auto-generated email receipt, you will receive a confirmation email from the Director of Education and Artist Services, Pamela Weichmann. CANCELATION POLICY: Refunds are eligible up to one week before the beginning of the workshop. After this time, workshop fees are non-refundable. WheatonArts reserves the right to cancel a workshop due to minimum enrollment. If cancellation occurs, WheatonArts will refund all workshop fees. A $25 fee is charged to those who do not show up for their appointment.
