A trans-Tasman celebration of youthful voices in concert
A new festival initiative brings young singers from across the Tasman together in a one-night-only joyful celebration of singing.
For the first time, the Auckland Youth Choir will join with the TYO Tasmanian Youth Chorale and guest Tasmanian school choirs (to be announced) in a special concert uniting secondary school and college-aged singers from Hobart to Auckland.
This uplifting program will showcase the energy, artistry and spirit of the next generation of choral musicians, featuring a varied repertoire and highlighting the vibrant sounds of both Australian and New Zealand choral music.
The evening will culminate in a truly unforgettable festival moment: a powerful combined finale performed by all participating singers, reflecting their shared workshop earlier in the day, rehearsing alongside members of the Auckland Youth Choir and respected conductor David Squire.
