Newport Beach Pier Cleanup with Veterans!

Join your local Veterans and community for a community beach cleanup in Newport Beach, California! This free event is to help preserve our beautiful beaches and its surrounding environments. Volunteers will be tackling plastic debris and litter that accumulates in the sand before it get swept back up into the ocean.

Location: Newport Beach Pier

Parking: 138 Mc Fadden Pl, Newport Beach, CA 92663 -- If lot is full, please park on the street. Newport is full of parking on the street.

Meeting: Look out for our RFV Branded EZUp on the North Side of the pier in the sand.

• Arrive by 10-15 minutes prior for prompt check-in and to secure parking.
• See an RFV representative to check-in to be handed your bag and gloves.
• Wear dirt-friendly attire; long pants and sleeves advised.
• Consider hats and sunscreen for protection.
• Only closed-toe, sturdy footwear is permitted. No sandals or flats allowed.
• Bring a reusable water bottle to minimize plastic use.
• All necessary tools and supplies will be provided.
• There are public restrooms located at the base of the pier.

After each event, we make it a priority to gather with fellow Veterans and volunteers at a nearby local eatery for some food, drinks, and great company.

Make sure to include it in your ticket checkout process as an 'add-on'.

We value the dedication of our military and volunteers, which is why we offer volunteer hours and Letters of Appreciation (for our Active Duty) for every event.

To request your LOA or volunteer hours, simply indicate your preference when getting your ticket.

Our mission is to remove trash from our planet by empowering Veterans to clean our communities. We accomplish our mission by having Veteran operated teams organize cleanups throughout the U.S. In return, we are giving Veterans a chance to recycle their leadership skills and continue our service in a different and equally important way.
