Start the year by anchoring yourself in spiritual reflection at this Christ-centered mini retreat. Inspired by Jan Richardson’s poem, "The Year as a House," we’ll journey through each stanza, allowing its imagery to help us open “rooms” within our hearts for God’s presence.
Guided by experienced spiritual director, Kari Mirro, we’ll spend the morning in thoughtful reflection and meditation, inviting each part of the poem to illuminate our past year and guide our hopes for the coming one. You’ll also have the chance to create an artistic collage, using the poem as inspiration to visualize your intentions and prayers for the new year.
No art experience is necessary—just come as you are, with an open heart and a desire to listen. Refreshments will be provided.
What to Bring:
A journal and pen
Any favorite art supplies (optional; materials will also be provided)
