New Year Blessings with Buddhist Monk, Bhante Sujatha & Sound Healing

The new year is a time for beginning anew, setting intentions, and clearing the way for unconditional love for ourselves and others.

Join us as we host, Bhante Sujatha, a 40+ year Buddhist Monk, who is singularly focused on adding more love in the world.
We’ll begin the afternoon with a warm and welcoming meet-and-greet with Bhante, giving everyone a chance to connect personally, settle into the space, and enjoy light appetizers and beverages. From there, we will transition into the deeper part of the experience with Bhante.
His program begins with a brief, inspiring dharma talk by Bhante Sujatha on the benefits of creating, refreshing, and establishing a sturdy meditation practice in our lives in order to support the goals we set to be our best self, followed by a guided meditation.
Bhante will chant the Ratana Sutra, a 2,600-year-old Buddhist chant describing a wish for world-wide good health, healing, and blessings.
Join us as we come together as a spiritual community to experience unconditional love's healing power and receive well wishes as you practice nobility and peace in this life.

During this event, there will be a crystal bowl sound healing with Cheryl Bailey. You will be able to lie down, relax, and go into a deep meditative state and allow your body to release and let go of emotional blocks. This sound meditation is truly an amazing experience for the body, mind, and soul. This unique experience is something that will resonate within you long after the event is over.

A book signing and “Choose Loving Kindness” items will be available for purchase during the event. A portion of the proceeds from this event will go to Bhante’s Pregnant Mothers and Incubator Project in Sri Lanka

What to bring:
Please bring a yoga mat or blanket to lay on, an extra blanket to cover up with, a pillow for your comfort, and water if you’d like. The studio has extra mats, bolsters, and blankets. We also will have chairs available for anyone who cannot lie down or wishes to sit during the event. Plan to dress comfortably so that you can go into a deep relaxing, healing, and meditative state.
