Welcome to the FCS New Teacher Academy - July Session!

Join us this July 21st-23rd for an engaging in-person session at the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education in Stillwater, OK. This foundational training is designed to help new Family and Consumer Sciences teachers plant the seeds for a successful first year.

Participants will gain essential tools, resources, and strategies to confidently begin the school year. Sessions led by FCS State Staff and expert speakers will focus on key topics such as classroom management, curriculum planning, and program organization. You’ll also have the opportunity to connect with fellow new teachers, collaborate, and build a strong professional support network.

Start your journey rooted in confidence, preparedness, and inspiration—setting the stage for growth all year long. Attendance at all three NTA sessions is required as part of the FCS certification process.
