📝 Important Workshop Information
• This is an intermediate-level workshop. We recommend participants have previously attended one of our Slab Creations workshops or have a basic understanding of hand-building techniques.
• Drying & First Firing: Your creation will remain at the studio after the workshop to dry completely before receiving its first kiln firing. This process takes several weeks.
• Glazing: Once your piece has been bisque fired, you’ll return during our regular Drop-In Art hours to glaze it. Glazing materials are included with your workshop registration, but a $5 seat reservation fee applies when booking your glazing session.
• Final Firing: After glazing, your piece will receive its final kiln firing and will be ready for pickup once completed.
• Pottery is a process! Due to the handmade nature of ceramics and the drying and firing process, slight variations and imperfections are a natural part of creating with clay.
