What You'll Learn
✨ Week 1 – Foundations of Wheel Throwing
Learn the fundamentals of pottery as you discover proper wheel setup, clay preparation, centering, and create your first bowl forms.
✨ Week 2 – Cylinders & Trimming
Build confidence creating cylinders—the foundation of many pottery pieces. You'll also begin trimming your Week 1 creations while learning techniques to throw your first mug.
✨ Week 3 – Expanding Your Skills
Create plates while continuing to refine your trimming techniques. You'll also learn how to pull and attach handles, opening the door to even more functional pottery.
✨ Week 4 – Your Signature Pieces
Put everything you've learned into practice by recreating your favourite form or designing something entirely your own. Finish your pieces with trimming, sanding, and glazing before they head off for their final kiln firing.
