New Moon Tibetan Chö x Gongbath

This month is special as we will be combining a traditional Tibetan Chö ceremony along with the new moon gongbath. Tibetan Chö ceremony combines sacred song, ritual instruments, and chanting to purify the five elements which compose the body and mind. We will return to harmony and balance utilizing gentle qi gong modalities before we slowly walk the mind down into the body or an integrative energetic experience. Allowing the symphony of ambient sound waves to wash through the body effectively redirecting and balancing the flow energy restoring us to our optimal potential. The transcendent soundscape will relax and open us into the awareness or perhaps enable us to determine our next steps in waking reality. Enjoy the journey..

The traditional Tibetan Chö ceremony combines sacred song, ritual instruments, and chanting to purify the five elements which compose the body and mind. It is an approach for clearing the deeper causes of illness believed to be psychological and karmic. It can be used to resolve stubborn obstacles, either energetic or ancestral, that are difficult to access or unresponsive to other therapies. While resolving these influences, it improves health and generates refreshed spiritual consciousness.

Paige Hetherington, L.Ac graduated with honors from Emperor's College Of Traditional East Asian Medicine in Santa Monica, CA. She is also a National Board Certified Diplomate of Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology. After completing undergraduate studies at Cornell University, she received grants to document plants used traditionally in tropical forests. Specialized training includes Eastern meditative practices, Ashtanga Yoga, Tibetan Buddhist healing ceremonies and hospice/end of life care. Paige draws upon over 20 years of experience as a practitioner to provide gentle and compassionate care.
