Dearest Sisters and BrothersThe Moon in January is also known as the Spirit Moon (Mido Giizis) in the Ojibwe nation. It is the first moon of the New Year, manifested through the northern lights. It is a time to honour the silence and realize our place within all of Great Mystery’s creatures.
The New Moon symbolises new beginnings and is the time to set your intentions for what you want to manifest in your life in this New Year. The living energy at New Moon embodies a moment of power, giving you the opportunity to bring change and transformation into your life. Being in Ceremony is a way to do this, to sift through your thoughts and feelings, to clearly see your intentions.
