The Moon in January is also known as the Great Spirit Moon, (Mnido Giizis) in the Ojibwe nation. It is manifested through the northern lights. It is a time to honour the silence and realize our place in all of creation.
During this moon we contemplate that we are only a part of creation; to be humble, to honour our food which helps us find the bond and connection between the spirit world and the physical world.
The New Moon symbolises new beginnings and is the time to set your intentions calling in what you want to manifest in your life for this New Year.
The living energy at New Moon embodies a moment of power, giving you the opportunity to bring change and transformation into your life. Being in Ceremony is a way to do this, to sift through your thoughts and feelings, to clearly see your intentions.
