If you just said no, then that’s where the ancient Sami practice of the Yoik comes in. Yoiking isn’t merely singing. It’s a bridge between voice, emotions, and soul desires.
Through voice, sound, rhythm, emotion, and presence, you’ll be invited to express what lives within you, beyond the common limitations of words.
During this event, you’ll learn:
• a brief history of the Yoik,
• how to begin practicing it yourself,
• how Yoik can support manifestation and emotional expression,
• how the voice can deepen connection to self and soul's desires.
We’ll spend time collectively expressing, sounding, connecting, and creating together, under the energy of the New Moon.
Absolutely no experience is needed. Even if you aren't a singer or performer, you can definitely still Yoik.
This is an outdoor gathering, so dress accordingly. Feel free to bring blankets, pillows, yoga mats, drums, rattles, chimes, singing bowls, or any similar instruments that calls you.
