About this Event
Join us beneath the quiet darkness of the New Moon in Aquarius for a deeply intentional ceremony of renewal, reflection, and inner listening. This gathering also marks the threshold of the Lunar New Year, a powerful moment of transition as we release the wisdom of the Year of the Wood Snake and step forward into the expansive, forward-moving energy of the Year of the Horse.
This sacred pause invites you to slow down, soften, and attune to both the lunar cycle and the rhythms of seasonal change. Aquarius offers visionary clarity and liberation from outdated patterns, while the Lunar New Year encourages conscious renewal, courage, and momentum, making this an especially potent time for intention setting and inner alignment.
We will begin with a guided New Moon meditation supported by flower essences thoughtfully selected to resonate with this moment of transformation. These gentle plant allies may be ingested or applied topically and work on an energetic level to calm the nervous system, clear emotional residue, and create spaciousness for clarity and intention. As the essences settle in, you’ll be guided inward to reflect on what is ready to be released from the past year and what you wish to consciously carry forward. Soft tones of 432hz singing crystal bowls will accompany this journey, inviting the body and mind into ease and receptivity.
Through breath, stillness, and visualization, we will plant seeds for the cycle ahead, anchoring intentions into the fertile, unseen field of the New Moon. This is a time to honor the shedding and insight of the Wood Snake while welcoming the vitality, freedom, and heart-led movement of the Horse.
Following the ceremony, you’ll be immersed in a full sound bath experience, enveloped in the resonant waves of the Chinese Chau gong, singing crystal bowls, crystal harp, swinging meditation chime, crystal pyramid, and various chimes. Layers of sound and vibration gently guide you into deeper states of rest and integration, allowing intentions to settle into the body and nervous system. The sound becomes both container and catalyst—supporting release, restoration, and alignment as awareness transforms into embodied presence.
Come as you are. Leave grounded, clear, and gently aligned with the rhythm of the moon and the momentum of the new lunar year ahead. Please bring items with you that will aid in your comfort: pillow, padded mat, blanket, journal for meditation prompts, water, etc.
Please know that the studio is on the second floor WITHOUT elevator access.
The Lunar Sound Garden is:
Primrose Apothecary: Felicia Howe ( Reese) is a botanical healer, clean beauty pioneer, and author whose work centers on plant-based healing and self-connection. She is a trained flower essence practitioner, published author, and the founder of Primrose Apothecary, a floral healing practice focused on building confidence, purpose, and self-love through flower essence elixirs. Her approach blends traditional plant medicine with vibrational healing to support overall well-being.
Kismet Travel: Nicole Oakland is a traveler, connector, and founder of Kismet Travel Company. Drawing from years of global travel and intuitive practice, she creates experiences rooted in reflection, connection, and community—both locally and through her curated international retreats for women. With a long-standing background in intuitive bodywork, plant medicine, and holistic wellness, she is excited to bring that same spirit of curiosity and connection into these monthly New Moon ceremonies.
Hearthsounds Sound Healing: Gabrielle Urbani is a sound healing practitioner and multi-instrumentalist whose personal journey has been transformed through sound-based healing, plant medicine, and holistic approaches that support emotional and physical wellbeing. My work is informed by the study of music theory, brainwave states, and the effects of sound and vibration on the physical and spiritual body, blending intuitive practice with intentional, research-informed foundations. I feel deeply grateful to share sound as a grounding and restorative practice, creating spaces where regulation, reflection, and inner alignment can naturally unfold.
