Thursday Night Music brings the season to a close with the legendary John Zorn. Led by Zorn himself on saxophone, the fiery New Masada Quartet is Zorn’s newest ensemble interpreting the hundreds of tunes in his Masada project, in his own words: “Ornette Coleman with Jewish scales.”Joined by the virtuosic Julian Lage, Jorge Roeder, and Kenny Wolleson, this groundbreaking quartet promises to bring down the house. It is an evening of music you won’t want to miss.
