Our featured speaker, Michael O’Keefe, will guide us through the art of improv - a powerful skill every podcaster can benefit from.

Whether you’re interviewing guests, recording solo episodes, speaking on stage, or navigating unexpected moments during a conversation, improv helps you think on your feet, stay present, and trust your voice.

And yes… we’ll actually try it ourselves.

Michael O’Keefe is part of Queen City Improv, a comedy troupe based in Manchester, New Hampshire.

Founded in 2017, Queen City Improv has become a vibrant part of the local entertainment scene, specializing in improv comedy where performers create scenes with no script and no preparation.

Their mission is simple: “Improv for the people.”

Queen City Improv creates a welcoming environment for people of all skill levels to learn, play, and explore the joy of spontaneous creativity. Their style focuses on building dynamic characters and discovering the unexpected moments that make scenes memorable.

At our April meetup, Michael will show us how improv techniques can make us better podcasters, helping us loosen up, listen more deeply, respond naturally, and bring more energy and authenticity to our shows.
