NEW CLASS STARTING Wednesday 7th January 5.30-6.30pm Qigong for Women with Silvia Rossi.Silvia's invitation:
"We will explore seasonal themes in association with the Chinese Five Elements: Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water. Through a gentle practice of slow intentional movements and meditations, in coordination with the breath, we will explore ways to embody the Elements’ qualities and nourish our organs and meridian system. This will create the conditions to lower stress levels and re-establish ease and balance in our body.
These ancient practices will combine forms from classic sequences, including the ‘Eight Silk Brocades’, ‘Shibashi’ and the ‘Five Animal Frolics’. We will use meditative Mudras, and imagery to facilitate a deeper alignment of mind and body."
Who the classes are for: Women, all ages and abilities will find support and empowerment through these classes.
Benefits : Qi Gong is a gentle movement practice. It is one of the pillars of Traditional Chinese Medicine and has been used for thousands of years as preventative medicine and to rebalance Body, Mind and Spirit. Qi Gong practices can be especially effective in supporting women navigating significant
life changes by increasing emotional stability and overall vitality, and ease associated physical symptoms.
