Neuropathy & Parkinson’s Disease: Symptoms, Diagnosis & Treatment Options
About this Event
Join PCLA for an informative Lunch & Learn with Jonathan Joseph Eskenazi, M.D., who will speak about neuropathy in Parkinson’s disease and what individuals and families should know.
Neuropathy can affect sensation, comfort, mobility, and quality of life, but it is not always easy to recognize or understand. During this presentation, Dr. Eskenazi will discuss how common neuropathy is among people living with Parkinson’s, how it is diagnosed, and what treatment options may be available.
This conversation will also explore whether there is any known connection between neuropathy and young-onset Parkinson’s disease, as well as how to recognize possible symptoms and know when it may be time to seek medical evaluation.
This program is designed for people living with Parkinson’s, care partners, family members, and anyone interested in learning more about the relationship between Parkinson’s disease and nerve-related symptoms.
