Healthcare Immersion Program for High School Students (In-Person)
The Women's Guild Simulation Center for Advanced Clinical Skills at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center offers students interested in pursuing a career in healthcare the opportunity to learn clinical skills and techniques in a highly realistic simulated hospital environment.
To promote educational opportunities in healthcare and medicine for young students, the Simulation Center developed the Healthcare Immersion Program (HIP). This unique program provides participants with an exclusive, hands-on experience that is often available only to healthcare professionals. Through engaging workshops and interactive learning activities, students gain exposure to a variety of healthcare disciplines while exploring potential career paths in medicine and allied health professions.
The program is delivered in person and led by experienced healthcare professionals, including Physicians, Nurses, and Allied Health Professionals who are experts in their respective fields. Sessions include a variety of educational workshops designed to introduce participants to key healthcare concepts and skills.
Examples of workshop topics include:
• Introduction to Cardiac Arrest
• Introduction to Airway Management
• Introduction to Special Pathogens
• Introduction to Laparoscopic Surgery
• Stop the Bleed® Training
• Introduction to Labor & Delivery
• And much more!

This registration is valid for one (1) Healthcare Immersion Program session only and applies exclusively to the event date listed above.
Please note that each Healthcare Immersion Program session requires a separate registration and registration fee. Registration for this event does not provide admission to any other Healthcare Immersion Program dates or sessions.
Participants who wish to attend multiple Healthcare Immersion Program sessions must complete an individual registration for each event they plan to attend.
Due to limited capacity, registration is non-transferable and applies only to the registered participant and selected event date.
