7/15 Machine Sewing Workshop with Friends of Silver Lake Library

Join us for a free workshop to learn the fundamentals of sewing using a machine and completing a simple project. Machine not required.
About this Event

PLEASE READ BEFORE SIGNING UP

In order to keep this program free for the community, we have a few requests for interested participants:

1. After you are signed up, we will email in advance of the workshop to confirm your attendance. If we have not heard from you 24 hours before the workshop, we will release your spot to someone on the waitlist.
2. We ask that you do not repeat the machine sewing workshop if you have already attended. Try our "Free Sew" Sessions to further develop your sewing skills!
3. If you are no longer able to attend the workshop, please cancel your ticket order or let us know as soon as possible so we can give the spot to someone who is able to attend.
4. If you are bringing your own sewing machine to class, please test it and ensure it is in working condition before attending!

Tickets Offered

Bring Your Own Machine (free): For those who already own a working sewing machine and would like to learn how to use it. No vintage or antique machines please!

Borrow a Machine (free): For those who do not have access to a sewing machine and would like to borrow one for the duration of the workshop to learn on.
